Description

Support manufacturing operations by performing regular maintenance on production equipment, troubleshooting electrical and electronic, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic, systems to resolve breakdowns or make repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, repair, install and maintain CNC machinery and mechanical/electrical equipment, including, programmable controls, CNC controls, power supplies, drives, gages, and test equipment.
Diagnose malfunctions, troubleshoot systems to determine necessary repair, replace, adjust, and assemble. Advanced electronic skills needed for working on CNC machinery, computerized controls, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Carry out preventive, corrective, and troubleshooting maintenance to uphold production and building electrical equipment. Follow diagrams, operations manuals, and engineering specifications.
Evaluate facilities to identify major repair and replacement needs of facility equipment and systems.
Communicate effectively with internal/external customers.
Keep adequate electrical supplies and repair parts for machinery service to prevent extended downtime.
Engage in Continuous Improvement projects related to 5S, TPM, kaizen events, and setup reduction events.
Ensure safety at all times, actively participate in safety improvement initiatives, and report any safety concerns.
Seek guidance from leaders or supervisors when faced with challenges.
Perform additional tasks within the job description's scope to support department objectives and individual skill development.
