Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our organization. This is a vital role that requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of financial concepts, and proficiency in payroll software.


Duties:

• Process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures
• Calculate wages, deductions, and withholdings based on employee timesheets and other relevant data
• Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits to employees on a timely basis
• Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues or errors
• Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, leave balances, and other relevant information
• Prepare payroll reports for management as needed
• Assist with yearend payroll activities, including W2 preparation and reporting
• Stay uptodate with changes in payroll regulations and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws

Qualifications:

• Quickbooks Experience a must
• Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes and procedures
• Proficiency in using payroll software and accounting software (QuickBooks)
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and identify discrepancies
• Detailoriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
• Knowledge of tax regulations related to payroll processing

Pay:
$ $30.00 per hour
