This is a full-time position in a fast-paced retail environment requiring multi-tasking, organization, exceptional sales skills, as well as a passion for helping people design the spaces in which they live, they work, they bloom.

Knowledge of interior design and space planning is not required. Experience in Furniture preferred. A keen eye for Design is essential for your success in our showroom. Modani Furniture is a rapidly expanding retail company offering affordable modern home furnishings.

RESPONSIBILITIES ARE (BUT NOT LIMITED TO)


Summary:

Responsible for performing and/or supervising all functions relating to the effective operations of the store by performing the following duties.


Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Reviews, on a continuous basis, the general business climate for the store and adjusts staffing, materials and inventories as needed.
  • Maintains the facilities of the store to produce and maintain high quality service/products at the lowest possible cost.
  • Work with a team to ensure customers are serviced at the highest level of satisfaction through quality service/products, courteous employees and quick response to needs.
  • When escalated, follows up on all customer inquiries and/or complaints and establishes conclusions in a timely manner.
  • Maintains stocks and inventory, and prices products according to pricing as set forth by the corporate office.
  • Ensuring opening and closing duties are met on a daily basis such as locking/unlocking store and turning on/off the computer system.
  • Work with the District manager to provide sufficient staffing for store needs at all times.
  • Ensures cash drawers are reconciled accurately on a daily basis and prepare cash and check pickup by the armored car service.
  • Inspect the areas in the store and resolve any issues that might arise
  • Ensuring that new stock is ordered, received in time and that it is put on display as required.
  • Work on visual merchandising in cooperation with the corporate's standard and guidelines
  • Oversees special projects as needed.
  • Work with HR to addresses employee performance, coaching and discipline
  • Ensure the store fulfills all legal health and safety guidelines
  • Reporting to headquarters
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by headquarters.
  • Required to work on weekends

Requirements:

Experience in Retail Management and/ or furniture retail preferred. Interior design and relevant experience/ interest preferred.

Self-motivated and driven.

High Emotional Intelligence.

Strong Leadership skills.

Ability to network and build relationships.

Strategic and organized.

Results-oriented and highly organized.

Collaborative Understanding of space planning and balance.

Excellent interpersonal skill and emotional intelligence.

Proficient in Mac, iOS devices and Google Applications.


Pay:
$59, $87,302.14 per year
