    Description

    Job Opening: Maintenance Planner/Scheduler

    Job Purpose: The role involves planning, obtaining and preparing resources, coordinating with site groups, and executing maintenance tasks to minimize interruptions to production operations.

    Strategic Focus:

    • Direct and monitor Maintenance crews to ensure Plant production aligns with financial goals
    • Create and manage Maintenance documentation, work lists, and resources
    • Improve Preventive Maintenance processes for Plant reliability and Uptime
    • Manage the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and support staff in utilizing CMMS effectively
    • Conduct root cause investigations for maintenance issues and implement solutions
    • Organize Maintenance processes to prioritize safety, quality, and environmental efforts

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Plan and schedule work orders to prevent production losses
    • Facilitate communication within the plant
    • Manage materials planning and project execution
    • Assist with plant infrastructure and process Capital Projects
    • Monitor spare parts inventory and sourcing
    • Coordinate maintenance work between departments
    • Evaluate and implement maintenance standard operating procedures
    • Conduct root cause investigations for reactive maintenance issues
    • Focus on safety, quality, and environmental initiatives

    Required Profile:

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • 5+ years industrial experience
    • 3+ years maintenance and supervisory experience
    • 3+ years maintenance planner/scheduler experience
    • Knowledge of plant equipment and maintenance procedures
    • Experience in a PSM site preferred
    • Strong project management skills
    • 3+ years MRO Inventory Management Experience

    Technical Knowledge:

    • Strong troubleshooting skills
    • Experience in batch and continuous operations
    • Knowledge of EPA and OSHA compliance standards
    • Six Sigma knowledge a plus
    • Experience with CMMS and Inventory Control

    Work Skills and Abilities:

    • Prioritize projects and improve processes
    • Analyze and troubleshoot operational problems
    • Effective communication and presentation skills
    • Plan and schedule maintenance work efficiently

    Other Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of manufacturing and inventory control techniques
    • Adherence to ethical conduct

    Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

    (Salary based on experience level)
