Summary:


The Electronic Assembler will perform the assembling of hydraulic and pneumatic aircraft components using various tools and blueprints; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; and maintaining the equipment by performing the following duties.

Assembly and wiring of electrical and electronic test control boxes, test instrumentation, and cable harnesses.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Assembly and soldering of printed circuit boards.
  • Assemble and wire 28 Flowmeter boxes, 7 Temperature boxes for centralized stands, and 2 Automated Fuse Stand control boxes.
  • Assist with cabling for production test boxes new parts and repairs.
  • Basic troubleshooting and repair of cable harnesses, test boxed and test instrumentations.
  • Follows all safety rules as set by the company.

Education and/or Experience:

A high school diploma or general education diploma (GED) is required.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints.
  • Knowledge and use of a variety of hand tools.
  • Experience in soldering of electrical wiring and components.
  • Ability to interpret electrical/electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints and specifications.
  • Ability to operate basic electronic instruments such as DMM's, power supplies, and oscilloscopes.
  • Knowledge and use of measuring devices (calipers, dial indicators, etc.).

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Pay:
$ $30.00 per hour
