- Comprehensive knowledge of Blueprint Reading and Geometric Tolerancing.
- Evaluating the feasibility of producing a product or part on a Transfer Press.
- Determining Blank Size and Material Width needed to manufacture the Part.
- Identifying the number of operations required to manufacture the Part.
- Calculating the optimal size of a Transfer Press with sufficient Tonnage for Part production.
- Estimating the time needed to engineer, build, and create the tooling for Part production.
- Developing a complete set of tools for any size or type of Transfer Press.
- Creating various fixtures attached to or surrounding the Transfer Press.
- Designing Gages and Fixtures for Part quality assurance.
- Utilizing Auto-Cad Software for design purposes with expertise in 2-D and 3-D modeling.
- Locating and storing drawings using Vault Manufacturing Software.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest versions of Auto-Cad and Auto Desk Inventor, typically updated every 6 months.
