    SOFTWARE TEST ENGINEER

    LOCATION - HERNDON, VA

In Herndon, VA, Cinteot is looking for a Full-Time Software Test Engineer to join their team. As a part of a group of 3 - 5 developers, you will contribute to developing critical software used globally and creating solutions to address intricate customer requirements. The ideal candidate should possess knowledge and experience in software development, software design practices, and database structures. US Citizenship is a requirement, as this role involves acquiring a government security clearance and is based at a specialized facility.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in fields like Mathematics, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Cyber Security, or related disciplines from an accredited college.
    • Applicants chosen will undergo a government security investigation and must meet the criteria for accessing classified information, including US Citizenship.
    • Candidates must be able to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance for this position.

    Desired Skills:

    The ideal candidate will possess familiarity with fundamental software practices like coding standards, unit testing, configuration management, database, and system administration. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team are essential. Candidates will collaborate in a team setting using software methodologies and processes, with experience in Agile Development considered a bonus. Being a results-oriented team player, innovative thinker, and problem-solver with a commitment to upholding Cinteot's ethical standards is key.

    Security Clearance Statement:

    This role mandates a government security clearance and is only open to US Citizens.

    Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly (Sponsorship available for TS to obtain SCI and CI Poly)
