- Inspects all assigned rooms and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens, etc. are clean and in good repair
- Provides efficient and objective feedback to room attendants to drive efficiency and quality within the housekeeping department
- Ensure that all associates have proper supplies, equipment and uniform including nametag and designated PPE
- Trains associates on safety standards and enforce those standards on a consistent basis. Identifies associates engaging in unsafe behaviors and retrain them appropriately. Completes accident investigations and take steps to prevent future accidents
- Performs all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming and cleaning
- Verifies and updates status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift
- Perform opening and closing shift duties
- Notifies maintenance department of maintenance repairs necessary
- Monitor cleanliness of hotel including parking lot and exterior entrances
- Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Other duties as assigned

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Graduate Hotels, is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join < > and its brilliant team of hospitality enthusiasts. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Location Description
Our 231 keys and 9,000 SF of meeting space are proudly perched on the Ped Mall and a twenty-minute walk from Kinnick Stadium, just 'cross the river from campus. We're home team for Hawkeye games or a downtown caucus. The café, Poindexter, is ripe for riffing on policy and opinion over cocktails and coffees and our bar, Trophy Room, is stocked with downhome vibes and tapped for fun.
