Position Purpose:

We are seeking a reliable Baker to join our team at THB Bagelry and Deli. The Baker plays a vital role in our success by producing high-quality bagels following THB standards and being the enthusiastic announcer of freshly baked goods.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties:

- Efficiently manage bagel production following THB standards
- Organize daily routine to ensure a consistent supply of fresh bagels throughout the day
- Communicate the availability of hot bagels to the team and guests
- Maintain and clean bakery equipment regularly to guarantee optimal performance

Required Knowledge and Experience:

- Proficiency in basic math and use of timers
- Common sense approach to equipment handling and safety procedures
- Ability to handle situations calmly and resolve issues promptly
- Basic proficiency in written and spoken English (preferred)
- Previous baking experience is a bonus

Physical Activity:

The role requires standing or walking for extended periods, as well as bending and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Working Conditions:

- Fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment with limited space
- Team members are required to wear slip-resistant shoes
- Expect warm and humid conditions near ovens and boilers for extended periods
