We are a boutique immigration practice looking for a paralegal experienced in immigration law to fill a temporary position with our Firm.

You will work on a range of immigration cases including removal/deportation defense, appeals, federal court litigation, family-based immigration, employment-based immigration, waivers, asylum, and naturalization.

We are looking for someone who demonstrates strong initiative, ability to handle a high volume and diverse caseload, excellent writing and communication skills, superb attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and multitask.

• Providing clients with case updates.
• Assisting our attorneys with file organization, case preparation including but not limited to, submissions to USCIS, U.S. Department of State, and Immigration Court.
• Corresponding with various government and law enforcement agencies.
• Drafting affidavits, personal statements, written pleadings, evidence submissions, and motions for attorney review.

• High school diploma or higher;
• 5+ years experience working as a paralegal in a law firm or notforprofit handling immigration matters;
• Strong administrative, organizational, communication, and writing skills;
• Experience using Microsoft Office/Google Office suite;
• Able to take initiative and be comfortable asking questions when necessary to complete tasks correctly;
• Ability to read, write, and speak a second language a plus;
• Must be punctual, responsible, and reliable; and
• Open to taking on new responsibilities and challenging tasks.

• Monday through Thursday 9:00AM to 6:00PM and Friday 9:00AM to 4:00PM

• New York, NY 10004: Reliable commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
