Local Contracting Company is looking to fill the position of Parts Runner/Driver. The main warehouse that you will report to daily is located in Miramar, CA. Knowledge of the San Diego area is a plus but not a requirement. Must know how to use an iPhone for navigation.

Must be at least 21 years of age (per insurance requirements). Must have current & valid CA Driver's License & clean DMV record. We are a DRUG-FREE workplace. Company conducts pre-employment Drug Screening and DMV Record pull. Ability to pass a background check is required in order to access Military Bases.

Ability to sit, stand, drive for 8-10 hrs per day.


Physical requirements include the following:

• Ability to lift 1050 pounds frequently
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds occasionally

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a company vehicle to transport parts and materials to designated locations
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of parts
• Load and unload parts using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other equipment as necessary
• Verify the accuracy of parts and materials being transported
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and warehouse

Experience:

• Previous experience in route driving or courier services is preferred
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management is a plus
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is required

**Sick pay eligibility after 90 days. Health Insurance activates after you reach 130 work hours.


Pay:
$ $26.00 per hour
