The Northrop Grumman Total Rewards team is looking for an Employee Experience and Platforms Manager to improve how employees understand, access and take advantage of their benefits.


This full-time position reports to the Director of Employee Experience for Total Rewards, and the preferred location is Falls Church, VA, however, we will consider fulltime virtual telecommuters.

You'll be a great fit if you:

  • Can drive projects to completion, manage multiple ongoing projects and know how to prioritize work.
  • Have experience developing and implementing integrated messaging plans and can identify effective stories to tell via multiple traditional, nontraditional and digital mediums.
  • Know how to create compelling content designed to increase employee engagement and promote consumerdriven behaviors related to benefits selection, benefits awareness and employee wellbeing.
  • Have experience implementing personalized, targeted communications approaches.

In this job you'll

  • Oversee employee engagement strategy and daytoday execution for Total Rewards health, retirement and employee recognition programs.
  • Collaborate with Total Rewards leaders to build and execute engagement and communications strategies that support their goals.
  • Build crossfunctional relationships and networks to help communicate benefits information to employees, including hardtoreach populations.
  • Manage Total Rewards website and other digital platforms ensuring they provide the best employee experience possible.
  • Translate plan document information into easily understood content for employees.
  • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, serve as a trusted advisor and work in partnership with other leaders to integrate messages and methods in support of broader business priorities.
  • Partner with Corporate Communications to promote Total Rewards messaging via company communications channels and ensure company voice and style guidelines are incorporated.
  • Collect and analyze data, make recommendations to improve our approach and the results of future communications, resources, events and activities.
  • Assess channels and content and lead the creative process.
  • Partner with vendors to enhance the employee experience.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of relevant experience OR Master's Degree and 8 years of relevant experience OR Associates Degree and 12 years of relevant experience OR High School Diploma and 14 years of relevant experience managing communications projects, channels or campaigns, drafting communication content, materials and products.
  • Degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong problem solving, organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies
  • Topnotch presentation, time management and speaking skills.
  • Highly organized and detailoriented and able to work independently while managing multiple deliverables.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn about complex, highly technical topics.
  • Energetic team presence with an eagerness to learn and recommend new and innovative ideas to support strategic objectives.
