Description
As a BHT at Sonora, you will participate in the development and implementation of patient treatment plans by:

  • Providing care, close supervision, and accurate documentation of patient behavior
  • Maintaining a safety first environment
  • Developing positive relationships with patients and coworkers
  • Following facility policies and procedures and providing crisis intervention as necessary
  • Actively participating in treatment teams
  • Acting as a role model using appropriate deescalation skills, active listening skills, appropriate tone and voice volume, providing a variety of positive reinforcements, maintaining proper boundaries, and promoting positive peer culture

Requirements:


  • HS Diploma/GED required.
  • Experience working with children/adolescents required.
  • Experience working in a behavioral health setting preferred.
