  • Week 1 Tuesday/Wed/ Friday; Week 2 Mon/Thurs/Sat; 1 winer and 1 summer holiday
  • PURPOSE OF JOB:
  • Provides direct patient care and performs selected therapeutic interventions and diagnostic procedures under the direction of the Registered Nurse
  • ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Provides safe and efficient direct patient care with consideration for age-specific accommodations.-
  • Collaborates with patients, families, and health care team members in order to achieve excellence in patient care.-
  • Promotes patient safety through adherence to protocols, policies, procedures, evidence-based guidelines and Joint Commission National Patient Safety Goals.-
  • Actively participates in and supports departmental and organizational quality initiatives and goals.-
  • Maintains clinical competency according to unit-specific standards

Job Qualifications:


  • VI

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education:
  • 1. High school or GED completion.
  • 2. Certified PCT position requires current Pennsylvania license.
  • B

Experience:

  • 1. Hospital experience preferred.
  • 2. Phlebotomy and ECG experience preferred.
  • C

Other Skills:

  • 1. Certified in B.L.S. for health care providers.
  • 2. Excellent interpersonal and team building skills.
  • 3. Knowledge of medical terminology helpful.
  • 4. Knowledge of computer functionality.
