Duties

:


  • The incumbent will lead the Program Managment Office (PMO) support for price, cost, and management analytics.
  • The incumbent conducts comprehensive analysis of financial data and management information in order to identify a wide variety of management problems and will propose solutions for PMO Leadership decisions.
  • The incumbent will manage the financial resources through budget formulation, justification, and execution while administering the operational and mission support budget.
  • Incumbent validates resources allocated to the PMO to ensure expected funding is received.
  • He/she will coordinate with program managers on the impacts of resource adjustments/shortfalls, makes recommendations for reprogramming, and explains the status of funds to appropriate personnel.
  • Incumbent is responsible for centralized management of for both administrative and related functions associated with the efficiency and effectiveness of the PMO, but not limited to these tasks but through addiitonal duties as assigned.
  • Additional tasks as assigned may include determining action required for suspense items, collaborating with appropriate resources to work actions, and track the progress until completion.

  • This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.

  • This position is required to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.

Qualifying Experience

To qualify at the
GG-13, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position.

Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.


For this position, qualifying experience is defined as
:

One year experience in reviewing existing financial and cost dispositions from multiple programs and organizational policies and procedures, potential problem areas, developing solutions; develops approaches and proposes financial adjustments for program management Leadership consideration; identifies modifications for policies and procedures regarding the budget, financial administration of PMO operations, management practices of the organization, and any impacts of financial and management changes across the division and /or agency.

This position is in the Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It is being recruited under 10 U.S.C. 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system.
