- Bachelors or Masters Degree from an accredited university in the field of Civil Engineering
- EIT certification required, PE license strongly preferred
- Three or more years of experience working on the design of roadway projects in Virginia for VDOT and/or local clients
- Working knowledge of MicroStation/Inroads/ORD and/or Civil 3D
- Design experience with roundabouts and intersection improvements, drainage computations and design, and traffic element design is preferred
- Familiarity with VDOT project development process
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
- Detail-oriented with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment
- Ability to work independently and in a team

Responsibilities:We're seeking motivated candidates with an interest in performing a variety civil engineering tasks supporting project managers and collaborating with the team on Roadway projects.
