Position: UAT Script Writer

Location: Must reside in California with reliable transportation

Pay: $60/hr

Experience: 2+ years working in insurance industry required; 2+ years writing, executing, or managing User Acceptance Testing projects; 5+ years of advanced experience in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience working in the Workers' Compensation preferred

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Green Resources is seeking a UAT Script Writer to join a growing and dynamic team

Job Description:

• Provide services to understand end-to-end system processes and business required documents by creating reports, support training and suggest process improvements
• Create, run, and record the results of Detailed Testing Scenarios (DTS) for an underwriting policy system and/or a billing system
• Document Detailed Testing Scenario results in the appropriate format o support defect replication and regression efforts
• Submits DTS for review and revise based upon feedback, validate system behavior, gathering data related to UAT DTS and generate reports
• Participate in training sessions with subject matter experts to quickly become familiar with systems, requirements and procedures
• Ensures that all project documentation is produced in the standard format
• Attends and contributes to project meetings, participating in problem and issue resolution
• Promotes high quality, scalable, and timely completion of project timelines
• Communicate effectively with users at all levels, from data entry technicians up to senior management, verbally and in writing
• Ask questions and share information gained with other support team members, recording and documenting this knowledge

Position Requirements:

• Experience of internally developed systems is preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working in a Waterfall and Agile development environments
