JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc.
(JSI), a leading public health research and consulting organization dedicated to advancing the health of individuals and communities, is seeking Project Associates to support our portfolio of U.S.
based projects focused on topics including:
healthcare transformation including behavioral health integration; strategies to advance health and racial equity including addressing social determinants of health and other barriers to healthcare access; women's health, maternal and child health; HIV and infectious diseases; payment reform and Medicaid policy; and multisector approaches to advancing population health.
Project associates will work with teams supporting our technical work in areas such providing technical assistance and training, strategic planning, research, program evaluation, and health communications among others.

About the role:
This position is designed to provide a breadth of exposure to multiple areas of domestic public health for a recent graduate or early career professional looking to launch a career in public health, health policy, or a related field.
For this role, we are looking for someone who embraces opportunities for growth and thrives in roles of responsibility with quick turnaround times.
All staff members work across multiple projects simultaneously with a high-level of individual accountability, discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.
Our teams are still largely conducting business in a hybrid format, however this position will be assigned in-person tasks and must be available to work on-site in our Bow, NH office.
This position may also be assigned to work remotely with project teams across offices for a portion of their work.
The annual salary range is $60,300 - $63,300 (depending on years of experience) plus excellent benefits including: health insurance, dental, vision, and a 401k with a company match.
- monitoring and summarizing relevant public health and health policy news to alert internal teams to key issues;
- conducting background research
- summarizing and synthesizing project activities through notetaking, activity progress reports, and project tracking; and
- cyclical review and updates to internal
- and external-facing project materials (e.g., tools, resources, documents, websites).
Contribute to policy, evaluation, technical assistance and training deliverables, including:
- conducting background research
- synthesizing findings, including performing coding, analysis, and writing;
- drafting outlines, products and reports (e.g., creating slide decks, fact sheets, e-learning materials, evaluation reports, policy analyses)
- materials design and editing, including review for compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (Section 508)
Interface with clients and partners around external-facing project activities, including:
- connecting with individual grantees in the areas of data management and utilization;
- presenting work products to internal and external partners;
- managing technical details including planning and real-time troubleshooting to support in-person and virtual events ranging from small capacity building consultations to large-scale national meetings
Organize and contribute to business development for new projects including:
- searching for and disseminating information about new business development opportunities
- developing proposal sections related to personnel and organizational capacity, and contributing research to technical proposals
Represent JSI with external audiences, including:
- Networking with external partners, clients, and pro
