JOB SUMMARY:

The Data Quality SME designs data reconciliation and integrity validation procedures across a multi-system environment.

Requirements:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Data Quality SME will deliver innovative solutions that help our federal clients improve the services they provide to the American public.

You explore how new technologies can be applied to solve challenging business problems. You thrive in a collaborative, creative and productive team environment.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

Informing data migration procedure improvements and client data cleansing activities
Working with clients to design, execute and track progress of data cleansing activities across multiple systems and data types.
Innovating automated solutions for reconciliation, integrity checking, and data cleansing using existing or new program tools.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS
AND ABILITIES:

Drive consistent quality solution development and delivery
Experience with a wide variety of data quality tools and concepts
Excellent communication skills
Ability to think critically and analytically
Ability to quickly and efficiently solve problems

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

US citizenship or Green Card holder required to obtain a federal security clearance to support this Veterans Affairs program.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required.
8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
Minimum of 5 years of Data Quality SME experience.
Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment
Ability to exhibit a professional, positive attitude and work ethic
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to speak, read, and write English
Critical thinking, sound judgment, and adaptability required

STRONGLY PREFERRED:

An active PIV card from the Department of Veterans Affairs
Experience working as a Data Quality SMEr supporting federal clients

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a quiet, dedicated workspace for Home Office work.
Userprovided home highspeed network connection

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance.
This position requires the use of a computer screen for extensive periods of time.
This position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or seated) most of the time.
Viewing computer screen/monitor
Utilizing keyboard
Answering phone/making calls
Participating in meetings and clientfacing meetings in person or on camera

The salary range for this role is
$117, ,360.
