Description
Responsible for preparing and rendering radiopharmaceuticals in diagnostic and therapeutic studies, in the outpatient setting utilizing variety of equipment while following prescribed procedures.
Principal Accountabilities:
Selected candidate will perform Cardiac Nuclear studies in accordance with established departmental protocols and policies.
This position is in an outpatient imaging based out of Cardiac Imaging Bayonne and focuses on the outpatient population and office-based imaging environment.
Follows radiation safety techniques in use and disposal of radioactive materials.
Other duties as assigned
Required:
HS Diploma or equivalent experience.
Graduate of AMA approved school of Nuclear Medicine required
Employment history of working in an office- based setting is preferred LEAD - Specific Certification related to position or associate degree/Technical Degree in related field.
All licenses and certifications needed to fulfill the duties required of a Technician at the state (s) and/or national level.
Makes decisions regarding daily priorities for a work group; provides guidance to and/or assists staff on non-routine or escalated issues.
Collaborates with Management in the development and validation of methods, techniques, and analytical approach. Serves as a model/mentor for team Members on technical skills.ABOUT US
