    Are you a Physical Therapy Assistant with a minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience in the San Diego, CA - California area? We are searching for a Physical Therapy Assistant to support needs at the Naval Base San Diego located in San Diego, CA - California.

    • Possess a minimum of 12 months experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant within the preceding 36 months.
    • Provide two letters of recommendation written within the last two years from physical therapy supervisors, physicians, or hospital administrators attesting to the HCW's ability, skills, and knowledge. Recommendation letters must include the recommendation recipient's name, title, phone number, date of reference, address, and signature.
    Physical Therapy Assistant certification

    Perform a full range of Physical Therapy Assistant services in support of patient referrals from the following specialties: Orthopedics, General Medicine and Surgery, Primary Care Clinic, Rheumatology, and other referrals approved by the Department Head/Division Officer, within the scope of this statement of work, on-site, using Government-furnished supplies, facilities, and equipment.

    Services provided under this contract shall be performed by all DoD, Navy, and local MTF guidelines and reporting requirements and by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) guiding principles.

    As soon as possible pending Federal Security Clearance process completion (typically 4-6 weeks after initiation)
    Services shall be provided Monday through Friday and federal holidays between 0600 to 1800 hours.

    Shifts will generally be scheduled for an 8.The HCW may be scheduled to provide services during the weekend to augment Government personnel.

    In addition, the HCW may provide services to patients between 0600 and 1800 on Saturdays and Sundays.

    Historical data indicates the number of Contractor weekend assignments is approximately four (4) instances during the period of performance of the task order, at a frequency of less than or equal to one weekend per month (historical data does not necessarily reflect future requirements).
