Job summary

We are looking for a Business Development Manager focused on Public Sector supporting the west coast market.

The BizDev manager will be responsible for generating opportunities in support of Federal State and Local government agencies.
What We NeedWe need someone to prospect public sector customers using direct and indirect methods such as calling face-to-face meetings networking through key industry contacts influencer trade organizations drive sales cycle from customer engagement to closed sale in partnership with dealers investigate create awareness of business moves lease expirations consolidations restacks develop maintain relationships with key influencers dealer partners end users other Allsteel contacts members leverage contracts agreements BPA's IDIQ's etc to generate new revenue What You Have Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred 3-5 years experience in Public Sector sales working knowledge GSA schedules contracts BPA's IDIQ's common purchasing vehicles What You're Good At Knowledge office environment issues general business trends identify influence decision makers strong communication presentation skills organization customer support orientation lead change handle multiple projects fast-paced environment
