This is the work environment:



At the DATEV data center, up to productive jobs are processed daily on the mainframe.

Our team monitors these processes around the clock and ensures their smooth operation.

We provide first-level support, react immediately if there are errors in the processes, and troubleshoot them - even before our clients notice.

As part of DATEV's development into a cloud company, we are building a multi-platform scheduling system to manage processes and services flexibly and across technologies.

These are the tasks:

  • Ensuring the functionality, availability, and timeliness of batch processing on the mainframe
  • Clarifying and resolving errors in processes while considering availability and cost-effectiveness
  • Supporting the development of a multi-platform scheduling system
  • Assisting with automation projects in the mainframe operations environment

We are looking for:



Required skills:

  • Completed training as an IT specialist for system integration or a degree in computer science
  • Ideally, knowledge of z/OS environment (CICS, Job Control Language, MQ, DB2, etc.) or scheduling systems (IBM, Stonebranch, etc.)
