Korpack is looking for a highly organized and independent individual for its high-paced Strategic Procurement and Business Development Manager role to drive the growth of Korpack.


What Your Day will Consist of:


Estimation Process Management:


  • Lead and manage the overall estimating process for all projects, products, and/or services.
  • Collaborate with necessary departments to gather necessary information for accurate cost estimates.

Strategic Sourcing Strategy:


  • Develop and implement Korpack's strategic sourcing strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Identify costsaving opportunities and efficiency improvements in the procurement process.
  • Utilization and enhancement of ERP system procurement tools, and analytic tools to enhance visibility in vendor partner relations and make datadriven decisions.
  • Develop strategies to improve overall processes with a systematic approach and put intelligence in the system to guide strong decision making
  • Implement and produce engineered solutions, while staying competitive

Strategic Vendor Relationship Management:


  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure a reliable and costeffective supply chain.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve favorable pricing and conditions.

Cost Analysis and Optimization:


  • Analyze costs associated with the procurement process and identify areas for cost reduction or efficiency improvement.
  • Implement costeffective sourcing strategies without compromising quality or service.
  • Manage and optimize the sourcing budget, ensuring costeffectiveness and efficiency in procurement activities.

Market Research:


  • Stay informed about market trends, pricing, and innovations in the industry.
  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and technologies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:


  • Collaborate with other departments, including finance, operations, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment in sourcing strategies.

Compliance and Ethics:


  • Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in the procurement process.
  • Implement and enforce ethical sourcing practices.

Continuous Improvement:


  • Implement processes for continuous improvement in strategic sourcing and estimating activities.
  • Identify and recommend enhancements to procurement processes and systems.

Performance Metrics:


  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of sourcing/estimating strategies and hold team accountable to achieving them.
  • Regularly assess and report on the performance of vendor partners against established metrics.

The mission of the role is to lead the estimating process, analyze costs, and prepare accurate and competitive estimates for projects in a timely manner.

This is a high-paced role with multiple opportunities being worked on simultaneously per day - speed, organization and attention to detail will be key for success.
