Description

We are currently looking for a Database Administrator (m/f/d) to join our team at Seneca. The position is located in Münster and offers a hybrid work model.

Here's what you can expect in this role:

Administration of databases as part of the operations team
Monitoring, optimization, deployment, and patching
Troubleshooting and documentation of errors
Creation of operational documentation and troubleshooting guidelines
Project work on implementing, optimizing, and exchanging database management systems
Acting as a contact person for inquiries and evaluating and implementing solutions
Participation in BI/BigData projects (Cloud & OnPrem)

To be successful in this role, you should have:

Completed training as an IT specialist for system integration or a comparable education
Solid knowledge in administration, database management, clustering, and backup
Knowledge of BI services (MSSQL BI services such as SSRS, SSIS, SSAS)
Experience with scripting (PowerShell, TSQL, PSQL, etc.) is desirable
Knowledge or interest in other topics in the BI/BigData field, such as DataWarehouse/ETL and database operations in the cloud (preferably Azure)
