Your tasks

We are looking to strengthen our database administration team in Bradfordville. You will be part of the IT infrastructure department and work together with colleagues from application development to optimize our systems. Our collaboration is based on collegiality, appreciation, and trust. Your specific tasks will include:

Further development and ensuring availability and functionality of databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
Additional work in the area of SAP basis
Monitoring, maintenance, and performance optimization of databases, as well as providing technical support
Automated installation, configuration, and updates/upgrades of databases
Consulting for development and business departments

Your profile

Degree in computer science or a comparable education, several years of professional experience
Practical experience in installation, configuration, and tuning of databases (Oracle and preferably also PostgreSQL or SQL Server)
Prior knowledge in SAP basis and a willingness to continue learning in this area
Good knowledge in patch and upgrade management
Good knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating systems and shell programming
Knowledge in areas such as Cloud Control, DataGuard, high availability, and virtualization technologies would be a plus
