Project Description


RIVA is providing IT Services and Support to their customer's CIO office, Project Management Office, Network Infrastructure Section, Service Desk Section, and the customer user community.

The CIO's office manages all aspects of the customer's branch sections from projects to documentation and policies. The Project Management Office provides a framework, tools, and staff to manage projects and initiatives. The Network Infrastructure Section provides IT infrastructure support, including networking/firewalls, backups, data center management, and operating system management.

The Service Desk Section provides hands-on troubleshooting and user support for RIVA's customer users, including support for laptops, desktops, peripherals, smartphones, operating systems, and software.


Position Description

Responsibilities
The Application Admin will be responsible for providing rapid response and technical support, ensuring mínimal disruption to operations


Additional responsibilities will include:

Infrastructure Management: Build, configure, and test physical and virtual machines for deployment.

Cloud Computing Management: Build, monitor, and test cloud computing components, including Disaster Recovery as a Service (DraaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), and Platform as a Service (PaaS).

Problem Resolution: Address and resolve issues related to commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) server software, network components, and cloud products.

Server IT Refreshment Program Support: Provide support for the server IT refreshment program, including image building, updates, and deployment.

Server and Network Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve server and network related issues promptly.

Server Backups: Perform server backups according to daily, weekly, and monthly schedules as per Backup Procedures, Continuity of Operations (COOP), Contingency, and Disaster Recovery Plans.

SharePoint Administrator: Administer SharePoint services and maintain patch levels and recommended updates for the SharePoint farm.

Party SharePoint Tools: Install and maintain all third-party SharePoint tools and components on NIA's SharePoint farm.


Requirements:


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an Application Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams and communicate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Experience using Azure DevOps and/or working in an agile environment.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship or have been a permanent resident for more than 3 years
