    Position at Grid Dynamics Our customer is an American multinational technology company headquartered in San Ramon, California. Our customer is one of the world's largest technology companies based in Silicon Valley with operations all over the world. On this project, we are working with bleeding-edge technologies to develop a high-performance data analytics platform, which handles petabytes of data. In addition to a strong technical background, the ideal candidate must possess outstanding interpersonal skills. The position requires excellence in communication, both written and verbal, including the ability to work well with stakeholders from a wide range of backgrounds with varying levels of technical knowledge. Requirements:
    • Minimum 8+ years experience in designing, developing and deploying scalable enterprise web applications and services using Java/Spring technologies
    • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
    • Hands-on programming experience in Java/J2EE, building and deploying highly scalable REST APIs with deep understanding of Java, J2EE, Servlets, HTL/Sightly skills, combined with enterprise Java frameworks such as Spring.
    • Good understanding of core web technologies including XML, HTML5, CSS, client/server-side-scripting languages such as JavaScript preferably using SPA (Single page application) and web services development using RESTful implementations.
    • Work closely with our business to understand their requirement, define the solution, develop POC's and demo the work in
    • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Maven, Hudson etc
    • Experience in AWS / Cloud approaches is an added advantage
    • Outstanding attention to details and commitment to excellence.
    • Dedicated problem-solver who can work in a fast paced environment where multiple releases are a fact of life
    • Experience collaborating with other team members in multiple teams diagnosing and debugging complex systems, and participating in investigating build, deployment and operational issues
    • Capable of working under pressure and tight deadlines to solve critical issues
    Responsibilities:
    • Participate in the design and development of high-performance business applications, from requirements analysis to production
    • Constantly improve software quality (evaluate and incorporate new libraries, tools, and technologies; code reviews; refactoring; testing; etc.)
    • Analyze and improve application performance
    • Search for simple and robust solutions to complex tasks
    • Work in an agile methodology environment where innovation, teamwork, and creativity are the keys to success
    • Collaborate with a distributed team of developers, QA engineers, analysts
