Expert Crane Installation Technician

Location:
Ashland, VA (Projects throughout Central, VA)

Duration: 3-month contract (potential for extension or permanent position)

Hourly Rate:
Competitive $20.00
- $35.00/hr

Shift: 1st Shift (Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM); Flexibility required for on-call duties Benefits: Comprehensive Insurance Coverage (Medical, Dental, Vision, etc.)

Join Qualdoc's dynamic team as a Field Installer/Rigger, where you'll be at the forefront of crane installation projects across Central, VA.

Responsibilities:

Skillfully install and rig cranes and heavy equipment
Collaborate closely with operators and project managers, ensuring meticulous recordkeeping
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, while prioritizing safety compliance

Requirements:

Proven proficiency in rigging and installation techniques
Familiarity with safety standards and a willingness to travel up to 70%
Comfort with heights, as installations can reach up to 200 feet using a bucket lift
Compliance with random drug tests and preemployment screenings due to work in government facilities

Pre-Employment Requirements:

Must pass a preemployment drug test (10 panels for recreational drugs and opiates)
Applicants for employment must be U.S. Citizens or national, U.S. permanent residents (i.e., current Green Card holders), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
