Auto Paint Technician

- service auto body shop, that has been in business for over 50 years and is known for being an icon in the area, as well as the industry. We are currently seeking an experienced Auto Painter Helper to access and repair vehicle damage.**

The Painter is a very important part of the collision shop. The first thing our customers see is the paint finish when they pick up their vehicle. We are looking for a team member that wants to keep our customers coming back and referring us.

REQUIREMENTS:

Typically has a minimum of 35 years of prep refinishing experience
Auto Body Vo-Tech certificate or ASE certification in refinishing preferred
Must own tools, such as, buffer, orbital sander, primer gun, etc
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have a valid driver's license
Comply with all safety requirements, respirator safety, and fitment/usage.
Ability to effectively communicate with others, oral and written
Advanced communication to mentor/coach/train apprentices as required
Ability to read and understand basic instructions, written estimates, and work orders
Multitaking; adapts easily to fastpaced environment
Personable, friendly demeanor with World Class customer service approach to internal and external customers
Ability to multitask and handle 20+ projects at a time
Selfmotivated with a cycle time mentality
