Registered Nurse - Psychiatric Care**Job Type:* Contract

*Pay Rate:
Travel Rate: 30 hr (taxable) on W2 + $1162/weekly (nontaxable) =$2242(Weekly gross)
*Local Pay rate: $46 /hr on W2. (We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our psychiatric care team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mental health nursing and a commitment to providing high-quality care to patients with psychiatric disorders. As a Registered Nurse in our psychiatric unit, you will play a vital role in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care of patients experiencing mental health challenges. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to promote the holistic well-being of our patients and provide support to their families.
*Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health status, including physical, psychological, and social factors.

Develop individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, incorporating patients' preferences, strengths, and goals.
Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and strategies for coping and recovery.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and facilitate discharge planning.
Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and clinical outcomes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record system.
Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice, including patient confidentiality and informed consent.

*Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.

Certification in psychiatric-mental health nursing (PMHN) or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe.
