    Description

    Position: Registered Nurse at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center

    Employment Type: Full-time

    Shift: Day Shift

    Position Purpose:

    • Accept responsibility for delivering patient care within a multidisciplinary team
    • Develop and implement patient care plans based on nursing standards and patient needs
    • Guide patient care activities using clinical thinking skills
    • Provide direction to Licensed Practical Nurses and Nurse Assistants
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and caregivers
    • Attend departmental meetings and educational opportunities
    • Be a steward for hospital resources

    Hours/Schedule: Full-time, 7:00am - 7:30pm, every 3rd weekend, every other holiday

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Current RN licensure in Iowa, or multi-state license
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
    • Previous acute care experience preferred
    • Preferred certification in Med/Surg (e.g., CCRN, CEN)
