The German Railway is not only one of the most important companies in the field of mobility services, but also one of the largest engineering offices in Germany. Currently, around engineers work for us to realize and sustainably maintain new bridges, tunnels, train stations, tracks, and signal systems – but that's not enough. As an engineer at the German Railway, you can plan, manage, or supervise something that will remain: the infrastructure for future generations.

We are currently looking for you as a sub-project manager for commissioning coordination, construction and operation, long-distance train workshop Hannover-Pferdeturm (m/f/d) for DB Fernverkehr AG at the Hannover location.

Your tasks:

  • As a sub-project manager for electrical engineering, you keep an eye on the most important key figures - quality, budget, and time for implementation
  • You bring in your expertise in planning and construction of infrastructure projects (preferably in the context of railways)
  • You ensure the implementation of applicable and recognized rules of technology, guidelines, regulations, as well as requirements of the legislator, DB Fernverkehr AG, EBA, and the client
  • You evaluate the developed technical solutions with regard to their implementation in the project and initiate the development of countermeasures at an early stage in case of a risk to the project goal
