    Job Summary

    Hughes General Contractors is looking for a dedicated individual to fulfill an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support our accounting managers. This is a full-time non-exempt position with regular work hours being Mon-Fri from 8am to 5pm. Duties include, but are not limited to:

    • Billing & Invoicing
    • Collection of past invoices
    • Accounts Payable
    • Statements
    • Data Entry
    • Answering Calls (as needed)
    • Assisting with other accounting/purchasing duties as assigned

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Good understanding of GAAP
    • Strong PC skills utilizing Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook software
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • A self-starter with a strong desire to learn
    • Strong organizational and time management skills

    Minimum Qualifications

    • A good understanding of basic accounting principles
    • Comfortable with Microsoft Excel, Word, & Outlook
    • Solid math skills
    • Experience with Timberline/Sage 300 is a plus but not required

    Experience

    • Solid Accounting Experience of at least one year (Construction accounting a plus)
