Job Overview:
A Structural Engineer is responsible for designing, analyzing, and evaluating the structural components and systems of buildings and infrastructure projects.
A Structural Engineer is a professional responsible for designing, analyzing, and ensuring the integrity and stability of buildings, bridges, and other structures.
They play a crucial role in ensuring that structures can withstand various loads, including gravity, environmental factors, and dynamic forces.
The structural engineer will analyze project goals, design structural elements, perform field visits, make safety recommendations, and maintain a project database.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Analysis:
a. Design structural systems, including foundations, beams, columns, and connections, to meet project requirements and safety standards.
b. Analyze structures using engineering software and mathematical calculations to determine their ability to withstand various loads.

Qualifications:
Min 5 years experience.
Bachelor's degree in structural engineering; a master's degree may be preferred for some positions.
Professional Engineer License (PE) is a must. Multiple states is a big plus.
Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, codes, and design software.
Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) and structural analysis tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Problem-solving skills to quickly address issues that arise on-site and keep projects on track.
Proven drafting skills, exemplified by a portfolio of prior work.
Working knowledge of compliance, zoning, and building legislation.
Database management capabilities.
Experience in a leadership role.
