Position Summary

Tomten Farm and Sanctuary in Haverhill, NH is looking for a full-time team member with large animal experience, a can-do attitude and a strong work ethic.

We are seeking a positive, mature and motivated individual who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail and is not only at ease, but truly enjoys working around a variety of animals.

Horses, donkeys, cows, pigs, sheep, goats, alpacas, rabbits, cats and fowl.

Duties include but are not limited to stuffing hay bags, cleaning stalls, picking turnouts, weed wacking, filling waters, brush pick up and more.

Responsibilities
This is not a riding, training, or handling position.

It is a real farm job and requires a committed individual who is physically able to be on their feet for multiple hours, can lift 50#'s, and work beside us inside and out in all seasons and weather conditions.

Prior animal experience is not necessary but applicant must be reliable, honest, have a positive attitude, be willing to learn our animal-centric methods and be committed to maintaining our drama-free work environment.
