Job Summary


The Data Acquisition Coordinator will coordinate the process of collecting the most current election data nationwide from secretary of state and county election offices.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with state and local offices nationwide to collect voter file and absentee & early vote data files
  • Complete necessary data request forms accurately and timely to ensure data is received promptly
  • Import and audit incoming voter files and absentee & early vote data files to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Utilize Microsoft SQL and Excel to access, sort, organize, understand, and clean incoming data files
  • Create and maintain stored procedures for data files to ensure accuracy
  • Communicate regularly with other internal teams regarding timeliness and statuses
  • Research and understand key election dates and deadlines nationwide
  • Field and fulfill ad hoc projects from Client Services team members regarding unique data file requests
  • Stay abreast of current election laws and trends to ensure internal processes reflect any applicable changes

Skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
  • Reliability to accomplish work efficiently, thoroughly, and accurately
  • Ability to manage multiple competing deadlines and priorities
  • Working knowledge in SQL
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace products, and Adobe Acrobat

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in political or data related field
  • Previous internship experience in politics, campaigns, government, or data related field, preferred
  • Ability to work early, late, or weekend hours during peak election seasons, as needed
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. As a matter of company policy, we are not able to sponsor visas._
