- Know and understand the variables that will affect the business plan, including supply, demand, profit, competition, promotion, pricing, manufacturing issues, insurance rates, and finance rates
- Take ownership of all aspects of the guest's experience, ensuring prompt, courteous, and effective service
- Recruit, train, coach, motivate, and support the sales team as a servant leader and mentor
- Ensure proper utilization of customer relationship management (CRM) and related systems throughout the department
- Study local market conditions, demographics, and past sales history; make recommendations regarding short- and long-range advertising plans, inventory stocking, and staffing needs
