Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth
Team Leadership: Lead a high-performing sales team to exceed guest expectations and sales goals
Customer Relationship: Foster strong guest relationships to ensure client retention and satisfaction
Inventory Management: Manage vehicle inventory and ensure proper merchandise presentation
Training & Development: Provide coaching and training to the sales team on effective sales techniques and industry trends
Performance Monitoring: Regularly review and analyze sales performance against business goals to identify areas for improvement
Partnership Building: Coordinate with the marketing team to create effective advertising strategies

Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years in automobile sales, with at least two years in a management position
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and sales skills. Proficiency in CRM software

Responsibilities

Oversee sales department operations
Know and understand the variables that will affect the business plan, including supply, demand, profit, competition, promotion, pricing, manufacturing issues, insurance rates, and finance rates
Take ownership of all aspects of the guest's experience, ensuring prompt, courteous, and effective service
Recruit, train, coach, motivate, and support the sales team as a servant leader and mentor
Ensure proper utilization of customer relationship management (CRM) and related systems throughout the department
Study local market conditions, demographics, and past sales history; make recommendations regarding short- and long-range advertising plans, inventory stocking, and staffing needs
Forecast goals and objectives for sales, gross, and key expenses on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Constantly monitor the dealership's performance, revising the plan when appropriate, as well as finding areas that may offer opportunities for increases in efficiency, sales, profit, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction
