- Prepare test summary reports upon the completion of each planned testing phase.
- Smoke-test the deployed solution to ensure proper functionality.
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.

Senior Quality Assurance Tester Project Overview:
The Oregon Department of Revenue (DOR) is developing a new IT system for industrial property tax. This system will be used for taxpayers to file their annual industrial property tax returns for the tax year, with an assessment date of January 1, 2025, and a filing deadline of March 15, 2025. The system will be available through a secure online services portal using a Microsoft Dynamics 365 GCC platform. It aims to eliminate the need for emailed and paper-mailed returns, provide access to forms and information, detail accounts and assets, designate authorized users, communicate securely, and exchange confidential taxpayer information.
The project will be released in two phases:
This project is a legacy application modernization, as the original system was developed over 20 years ago. It also involves a significant Organizational Change Management component, representing a business process transformation and the adoption of a new, leading-edge technology skill set needed for IT.
The project follows PMBOK guidelines, and the software development lifecycle is Agile. RSM is the solution vendor implementing the solution, and there is a DOR IT and Program (end users) team as well.
