Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Tester

Only qualified Senior Quality Assurance Tester candidates in Salem, OR will be considered due to the need for onsite presence.

Required Skills:

Proven work experience in software development
Proven work experience in software quality assurance
Deep knowledge of QA terminology, methods, and tools
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Proficiency in testing best practices, version control, and defect management
Experience in test automation
Understanding of agile/scrum methodology and QA role within it
Experience in Dynamics 365 or similar tools
Experience in Azure DevOps or similar tool
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Experience in creating clear, concise test plans and cases
Hands-on experience in white box and black box testing
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools

Preferred Skills:

Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent
Prior experience in Tax applications

Responsibilities of Senior Quality Assurance Tester:

Participate in requirements gathering and review for test plan considerations
Create detailed test plans and cases
Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools
Identify, record, document, and track bugs
Perform regression testing post bug resolution
Participate in GAP analysis with vendor
Collaborate with BA and development lead on functional and technical design
Develop overall client test plan and testing phase specifics
Create system, end-to-end, and regression test cases
Assist in user acceptance test case creation
Prepare environments with necessary data for testing
Execute test cases and record results
Prepare test summary reports
Conduct smoke tests on deployed solutions
Implement testing processes for new/existing products to meet client needs
Attend all required onsite scrum meetings
