As an IP Paralegal, you'll play a crucial role in the management of our patent portfolio.

Your responsibilities will include processing US Patent Center mail, monitoring docket reports and ensuring the filing of timely responses to office actions.

You'll collaborate with inventors, paralegals, attorneys, outside counsel and other stakeholders to maintain accurate IP records and support the patent process.

  • 3+ years of patent docketing experience.
  • Familiarity with worldwide patent processes and procedures.
  • Experience in filing electronically with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)
  • Proficiency in using patent docketing software and tools such as Anaqua or similar.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong initiative and ability to take ownership and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience with legal ebilling systems and trademark docketing is a plus.

  • Prepare and send instructions to outside counsel based on patentrelated activities; including foreign filing.
  • Support IP Decision Maker Meetings and provide followup instructions to outside counsel.
  • Conduct patent and assignment related research.
  • Assist with IP asset integration and divestitures.
  • Docket trademark renewals and other portfolio updates.
  • Review IP firm invoices for accuracy and compliance with billing requirements.
