Brains and Motion Education is hiring Structured Recess Instructors for guide and engage children in a safe and inclusive structured recess environment.

As a Structured Recess Instructor, you will:

Assist in creating a safe and inclusive playground yard, organizing and playing games with 20+ students
Coordinating the game of the day alongside other recess favorites
Encourage safe, healthy play and positive conflict resolution through role modeling and active participation
Actively engage a diverse range of students in respectful and inclusive healthy play
Confidently delivery Physical Education lessons across multiple grade levels

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must love to play games and lead activities with children and have the ability to model positive behavior
Prior experience in a school setting as an instructor or teacher's aide (PE instruction or sports coaching experience preferred)
Ability to work with students grades K
Ability to play fun games with larger numbers of students in groups of 20+
Reliable transportation
Valid driver's license or State ID
CORI/SORI background check required
Available between 11:15 AM1:45 pm EST, Monday through Friday

Details

Wage: $18 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 2 hours per day / 10 hours a week / 11:15am1:45pm EST
Job Type: parttime, seasonal
