Position: Data Privacy Manager for Global Marketing Operations

Location: San Jose, CA (Remote)

Contract To Hire

• Primary contact for Privacy Queues (Marketing and PCOE), Events and Marketing Assessments
• Manages the centralized Marketing Privacy SharePoint site with up-to-date Privacy guidance and playbooks for Marketing stakeholders
• Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills to provide clear guidance and reasoning for privacy-related requests
• Distinguishes between Marketing Privacy responsibilities and when to involve other parties for issue resolution
• Documents cases for future reference and creates training materials
• Expertise in Marketing language to facilitate understanding and collaboration
• Collaborates with technical teams to address Privacy gaps
• Investigates and resolves privacy incidents
• Liaises with Regional Privacy Officers on new Country Law requirements
• Coordinates investigations with IT and legal teams

Education & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a business background, especially in Marketing
• Minimum 4 years of experience in project management, privacy operations, client engagement, and training
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, JIRA, and other software programs
• Knowledge of GDPR, CANSPAM, CASL, and SQL queries
