We are excited to announce we're hiring a host to join our team at LoLa 42, in Seaport Boston. As a Restaurant Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for guests visiting our restaurant. Your warm greeting and attentive service will set the tone for their dining experience. You will manage reservations, seat guests, and ensure that their needs are met throughout their time with us. Your goal is to provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back.


Some of a host's responsibilities are:

• Greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
• Manage reservations, including taking bookings over the phone and through online platforms.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and in the waiting area.
• Monitor the flow of guests throughout the dining area and make adjustments as needed to ensure efficient seating.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.

This full-time position is compensated with base salary at a minimum wage, supplemented by tips on top of offering benefits including a 401(k), 401(k) matching, health and dental insurance.

We're looking for someone with at least a year of hosting experience, who is available for various shifts including day, evening, night, and weekends.

This job requires working every weekend, with additional weekdays and weekends as needed.
