    Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse at Dignity Health's Arizona General Hospital



    Overview

    Responsibilities

    As an ER Nurse at AGH, you'll be the first point of contact for the community during health emergencies. Emergency nursing days are unpredictable, requiring quick reactions to prioritize patients based on medical urgency. Working with our experienced team, you'll provide stabilizing care through various procedures and interventions. Teamwork, critical thinking, and a focus on quality care are key to thriving in this role.

    • Use emergency triage protocol for patient intake, discharge, or admission.
    • Deliver stabilizing care to patients, adapting to changes in their condition.
    • Provide culturally sensitive patient care and document nursing care plans effectively.
    • Engage in initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.

    Qualifications

    Minimum:

    • Two (2) years of ER nursing experience
    • ADN diploma or BSN from an accredited school of nursing
    • Current AZ RN license or compact state RN license
    • American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
    • Kindness and compassion towards all individuals
