Description

To assist nursing with care of patients in a
VERY BUSY Endoscopy setting for both recovery, screening and admitting areas.

This will also involve training as a backup Endoscopy Technician to turn over procedure rooms between cases. Experience preferred, but not required. The third area is working in the front office scanning, scheduling, cleaning charts and registration.


IMPORTANT:
this is a float position that will cover MULTIPLE areas where you may be needed.

To be hired for this position you must be
EXTREAMLY FLEXIBLE, able to change your assignment at any time of the day without complaints.

You must also be
EXTREAMLY SELF MOTIVATED and a F
AST LEARNER Hours will vary greatly depending on your assignment, times may vary from 5am starts to as late as 6pm or after.

Your end time may also change during the day depending on any assignment changes. You could be asked to change jobs several times a day.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


In a recovery setting helping to clean and make beds, dress patients while assuring they are safe, taking patients to there car for transportation home and helping in multiple other roles within the scope of training.

Also Endo tech and front office roles as stated above.

Screening patients as they enter the Center.

Must be able to take direction from multiple nursing and supervisory staff, also able to prioritize tasks.


Must be able to move at a fast pace for an entire work day and be self motivated to complete tasks without constant direction.

Ensuring a high standard of care to patients attending the Endoscopy Unit, working within company policies and procedures.

Some training with turning procedure rooms between cases my be part of the position.


Maintaining personal contact with patients and relatives, being sensitive to their needs for courtesy, dignity and privacy and ensuring a friendly environment at all times.

Maintaining a safe and clean environment within the clinical area in accordance with established standards and regulations.

EDUCATION &


EXPERIENCE:
Patient care experience preferred, but not required.

QUALIFICATIONS &


REQUIREMENTS:
Must demonstrate an understanding of clinical risk. Must demonstrate consistent professional conduct and meticulous attention to detail.

Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills with patients, staff, and other health care professionals.


Pay:
$ $21.00 per hour
