What to expect:

  • Active involvement in the development of new ideas until the patent is granted
  • Preparing patent applications in German and English for domestic and international clients
  • Coordinating international patent portfolios
  • Conducting research on the state of the art and legal opinions
  • Defending or attacking patents in legal proceedings
  • Enforcing or defending claims from patents in infringement proceedings in collaboration with our attorneys

What you bring:

  • Degree in mechanical engineering with a focus on materials science or metallurgy
  • Admission as a German patent attorney (m/f/d) and EQE
  • Quick understanding of complex technical matters
  • Willingness to understand complex legal and technical issues
  • Excellent abstraction skills
  • Independent work style with a high sense of responsibility
  • High-quality use of English and German language in spoken and written form
  • Social competence and teamwork skills
