PHP's headquarters office is in Addison, Texas (Dallas metroplex). The company was acquired in 2022 and is now a proud part of the Integrity Marketing Group family ).

Position Summary
The Senior Accountant is responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting. The role will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. The Accounting Manager is also responsible for month-end general ledger activities, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation, monthly reconciliations, and support the budget and forecast activities. The Accounting Manager will report directly to the Director of Finance.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

Experience handling month end close required.
Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
Assist with daily banking transactions.
Collaborates with the other department managers to support overall department goals and objectives.
Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Responds to inquiries from the Executive Team and other managers regarding financial results, special reporting requests and other ad hoc reporting needs.
Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education: BA/BS in Business with an emphasis in Accounting.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment preferred.
Must be PC proficient and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting. Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word, and must be able to work with pivot tables, VLookups, and complex models.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.
Ability to work on-site M-F, Addison Texas 75001

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

CPA preferred.
Sage experience preferred.
