Description
The Host is present at the front of the restaurant to warmly greet and welcome guests when they enter the restaurant.
They are present until the completion of service.__RESPONSIBILITIES _
- _Properly introduces our guests to the restaurant _
- _Must have basic knowledge of customer service_
- _Responsible for warmly greeting and welcoming guests when they enter the restaurant_
- _Answers all incoming calls and is present at the front door to accommodate and manage a comfortable flow of service_
- _Through service, the primary responsibility is to seat guests following the proper seating rotation_
- _Maintain the look of menus, book reservations, and take care of any special needs a guest may have outside of table service (i.e., calling cabs, processing gift certificates), all while dictating the flow of gests into the dining room_
- _Thanks_ each guest for dining at the restaurant when they are departing the restaurant_
- _Maintains a professional and warm demeanor throughout service_
- _Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions given by the managers_
- _Ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere while keeping a professional demeanor_
- _Ability to stand or walk during an entire 8?10-hour shift_
- _Must be able to perform other related tasks designated from the management_
_QUALIFICATIONS_
- _Must be at least 18 years of age_
- _Minimum of 6 months of customer service, retail sales, or food service experience preferred_
- _Demonstrated ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner_
