- Assess and monitor the medical needs of patients.
- Communicate regularly with patients' families, referring physicians, specialists, nursing staff and other hospital departments regarding the plan of care and treatment of patients, including within 24 hours of admission, for any major change in a patient's condition, and within 24 hours prior to discharge.
- Participate in on-call and weekend coverage, as required by the Department.
- Participate in Quality Improvement (QI) / Quality Assurance (QA) and peer review activities as requested.
- Participate in ongoing process improvement activities through the development/application of clinical paths, process improvement and other related activities.
- Provide oversight, teaching, and mentorship of fellows, residents, APPs (e.g., physician assistants and advance practice registered nurses), and students and others (as appropriate) providing services to patients, including meaningful participation with the affiliated medical schools as requested.

Y ou will be an employed physician, with knowledgeable practice management professionals assisting in day-to-day operations and take advantage the resources and referral base of the larger Beaumont Health system the practice has a longstanding history of excellence in the community.
The Breast Care Center maintains top-ranking in patient satisfaction scores and features digital mammography, tomosynthesis, 3-D imaging, stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies, breast ultrasound, bone density and a breast care nurse navigator to help patients feel.
The Dearborn Breast Care Center is designated as a Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology.Th e breast team has breast dedicated medical oncologists, advanced practice providers, nurse navigators, breast radiologists, genetic counselors, nutritionists, research nurse and financial navigators.

Essential Functions

Support patient participation in clinical trials and research projects, assess clinical safety and efficacy data, consistent with Research Institute policies.
